Coming Back to My Roots: A Journey Toward Health and Fitness
After years in hospitality, I developed a growing interest in the link between health and nutrition. What began as a personal journey to stay fit quickly turned into a daily commitment to physical training. Over time, I rediscovered my competitive spirit, leading me to set new challenges for myself. With a more flexible schedule, I returned to my roots in swimming, expanding into a full triathlon regimen that now includes cycling and running. Competing in triathlons has been an exciting new chapter, combining my love for endurance sports with the thrill of racing.
To deepen my understanding, I’m currently pursuing a Personal Trainer diploma, which will help me enhance my knowledge of exercise science and nutrition. I’ve also been experimenting with healthy eating, blending my culinary background with a focus on sports nutrition. This approach allows me to create balanced, nutritious meals that support athletic performance.
Recently, I’ve begun helping friends achieve their fitness goals, sharing tips from my experiences with training, cooking, and research. Whether it’s building endurance or adopting healthier habits, I’m committed to guiding others on their paths to wellness.
