Education has become an important part of my work within the alcohol-free drinks industry.
Through OPIUS and No & Flow, I deliver masterclasses, tastings and educational sessions for hospitality professionals.
The focus goes beyond the simple removal of alcohol. It is about understanding flavour, ingredients, technique, balance, service, and giving hospitality professionals the confidence to approach alcohol-free drinks with the same creativity and attention they bring to the rest of their drinks offer.
As part of this, I’m very happy to support the Young Chef Young Waiter Competition as a judge, working alongside and encouraging the next generation of hospitality talent.
There is still a real need for greater education around alcohol-free drinks, helping both consumers and professionals make more informed choices while continuing to build knowledge, confidence and raise the standards of what alcohol-free can be.
